Hi, Is there a way to use your program to choose between two different RX EQ settings stored on disk? I want to find a way to quickly set the RX EQ to one setting suitable for USB and another for LSB. They need to be different because the crystal filter has a significant tilt in the passband making USB and LSB tonal balance different. Fortunately I use USB 99% of the time so I have set my RX EQ to compensate for the slightly sharp (upward tilt in passband) tonal quality but that makes LSB very soft sounding. Elecraft has obviously relegated this problem to the bottom of their todo list as no action has been seen in in over two years. If either an RX EQ command could be implemented or RX EQ settings could be stored per mode I could solve this problem in a flash but so far Elecraft has basically igtnored this as an issue.

But if it works for you, you can't beat the price. :-) (free) > > 73, > Mike ab3ap > > -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/setting-bias-on-rp-mic-tp7562001p7562023.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
