I am not a contester but I work "EVERY" contest as a bottom feeder looking for band and mode countries sometimes not often a new one. This had been only for the last 5 years and I have failed to notice any widespread use of this going of even a few in fact but I only work SSB VHF-160m contests. But using the CW readers I have saw very little of this going on maybe I'm just in the wrong band at the wrong time.
