Another suggestion is the Gamma Research HPS-1a, which has a very small footprint and will power a 100 watt radio. So if you get an amp you will be covered. I have the HPS-1a and it powers my K3 just fine and is easy to transport for portable operation. http://www.gammaresearch.net/hps-1a.html
