Jim, Experience tells me that using a "rigid" coax connection between two stacked units, such as a KPA500 and a KAT500, is not a good idea unless the stacked units are bolted together or mounted in the same rack. If one of the units should move even by a small amount, or try to move, a "rigid" coax connection between the two would be stressed. A flexible coax cable is the better option.
Murphy is always causing things to move :-) 73, Geoff LX2AO On October 17, 2012 at 10:00 PM, Jim Miller wrote : > By any miracle would two UHF right angle connectors and a M-M UHF adaptor > neatly fit between a stacked KPA500 and KAT500 or is a cable required? > > How about a UHF-BNC adapter on both and a BNC M-M? > > Thanks > > Jim ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
