For a real versatile scope, I use a Bitscope made in Austrailia. It connects via USB to your computer and gives you not only a 100Mhz BW Dual channel scope, but a Spectrum analyzer and a Digital Analyzer as well. There is even a cheaper single channel scope available.

I've owned and used several Tek and phillips scopes and the Bit Scope is truly excellent for the money. Professional quality.
