My K3 s/n 5947, intermittently loses sensitivity on all bands after being on for a few minutes. Usually tapping on the top of the rig restores things. Also putting rig in xmit restores rx to normal. Doesn't last though. I've eliminated the so 239 connector and coax as culprits. Not using the internal tuner.
