Guy,
I have used a small strip of 2 1/2 " sheet aluminum.  Bending the aluminum at 
right angles to fit the battery, then leaving 2" tabs over the edge of the 
battery with velcro on the tabs and velcro on the case.  The velcro locks the 
aluminum strap to the case holding the battery firmly in place.  I may have a 
digital photo of the arrangement.
