You could remove the left side panel and look for the two TMP sockets facing 
out of the end of the KXV3A.  These are for the K144XV.  If you have the KXV3, 
there will be no TMP sockets.

See the K144XV installation manual.  There is a photo, showing the TMP sockets 
on the KXV3A, on p13.
