Hans,

You can operate the K3 in TEST mode which will output up to 1.5mw to drive a transverter. TEST mode uses the transverter interface connections. It will not provide dial reading in 470-KHz so you will see 10.470 displayed.

A transverter band for 630m with a 10.470 IF would be nice addition to K3 firmware. Using a high-stability 10-MHz reference as LO is a "natural solution" for putting the K3 on the new 630m band.

Did you build your own unit or is it available for purchase in EU?

Hi Elecrafters,

I'm using a transverter for the new 630m-Band in Europe. This
transverter has an LO on 10 MHz.

It works well on the 10 MHz-band but not in the transverter-mode of the
K2,K3 or KX3 because their
firmware will not allow to set the "XVn IF" parameter to 10MHz.

Is there any chance to make that possible in the future?
