On my p3 with the KAT500 tuned to 28.004434 the birdie is -95 dBm. when I turn the KPA500 off it is still there at -110 dBm.
In my opinion that indicates the birdie is from the K3. When I turn my 4 el Yagi-Uda to the south which puts the antenna 40 ft above and 30 ft North of the tower the signal rises to -112 dBm, also indicating the signal is from the K3. There is another weak birdie at 28.000388 that is -105 dBm. this one completely disappears when power is removed. 73, Tom Amateur Radio Operator N5GE ARRL Lifetime Member QCWA Lifetime Member On Thu, 21 Feb 2013 14:01:25 -0800 (PST), John_N1JM <johnn...@gmail.com> wrote: >For me it is there but doesn't move the S-meter.
