On 30m, using my KX3 at 5W, worked them this morning. Dual RX
helped A LOT!
I'm in the log for ten QSOs so far, all at 5W. CW on all bands 40-10
and SSB on 40, 20, 17, and 10 (except the 30M QSO on the first day is
one of those missing from the online log). I'm still working on 80 and
160 -- so far, when they've been loud enough to work they've been
taking advantage of pretty good conditions to EU.
Some turkey was on 40CW last night complaining about them working EU,
but it's a very good thing that they're doing it. TX5K is easy from
the US, much tougher from EU. Here in CA, we certainly appreciate it
when the shoe is on the other foot, and DXpeditions in AF and the Near
East stand by for us.
