The KX3 mic input uses a multi barrel jack plug which enables up & down channel changing using buttons on the hand mic. I an regular stereo jack is placed into the socket, the radios VFO start to change continuously. To use digital modes, I need to use the mic input to connect to my sound card. There appears to be a setting on the Configuration menu to turn off the up/down and PTT but this is non functional. When selected on the menu by VFOB the options on VFO A say n/a. So the question is - how do I provide an input to the Mic socket on the KX3 without having this problem? Does anyone know of a solution to this issue.
