Ideas to correct the following would be appreciated - thank you in advance. This is something new and I am perplexed.
I am using a Heil Pro-Set Plus microphone/headphones (with elements HC4 & HC5). The microphone line is connected to rear of K3 in the "Mono" jack. The Heil headphone 1/8" stereo plug is connected on rear of K3 to "Phones" jack. The footswitch is connected to rear of K3 "PTT In". When in VOX the K3 stays in transmit and sounds like echo of shots (my imaginary sound) - when in PTT (preferred mode), as soon as I press the footswitch to transmit, K3 TX light turns red, headphones outputs a series of sound of echoes even before I say anything and if I speak my voice echoes...
