Scotty, Install the 2SC2166 at Q6.
I am not certain which manual revision you are using, but at the top left of the K1 manual Rev I, you should see the following:
"TO-220 package transistors Q6 and Q7 look identical, but are different types. Locate the 2SC1969 (labeled "C1969"), Q7, and set it aside. The remaining transistor, Q6, will be either a 2SC2166 (C2166) or a 2SC5739 (C5739). This transistor will be installed first" 73, Don W3FPR On 5/25/2013 3:19 PM, Scotty Long wrote:
