Good morning, I believe it leaves it the mic bias on but turns off the compression. If your using a signalink USB, you need to have the mic bias off UNLESS you are using their prefab jumper board. If you're using their board, you can leave mic bias on. If you're using wire jumpers, it needs to be off. Hope that helps.
