Dick,

I am surprised to hear that.
Is there a statement from Mozilla itself (reference please) or is that just another rumor on the internet? Mine is up to date (thanks to Mozilla) and is more functional for my email and calendaring (Lightning plug-in) than MS Outlook Pro.

This is timely for me. I have been looking for a decent email client to use on
my Windows7 computer. I find Windows Live Mail hard to work with. I like
Outlook Express because it is fast and efficient to use. However, it is
history. (I have tons of stuff saved that I don't want to lose.) I understand
Outlook only comes on Pro versions. I don't know if it will get phased out.

I have read that Mozilla is no longer supporting Thunderbird. I hate to bring
this OT, but a problem is upon us. I have done some reading, and find nothing
strong.

Dick, n0ce
