Gil, Check your cables carefully - often a bad coax cable sneaks in and causes funny results. You did remember to disconnect the control cable to the KAT100 and disconnect its power did you not?
Other than that, it sounds like your setup is correct. If you continue to have trouble, check the SWR Bridge/Wattmeter section carefully. The most likely things that could be wrong are T1 (rewinding it is the easiest way to check it for shorts between the windings), and diodes D1 and D2 (check for proper orientation - the banded end should point to the right side). 73, Don W3FPR > -----Original Message----- > > No joy during power calibration.
