A simple BNC T connector (IE "wire-or") from the RX antenna to the KXV3A RX IN and to the AUX IN of the SUB RX works fine. No amplification necessary. In diversity RX, the Main RX switches to my TX vertical and the SUB RX swicthes to the RX Antenna - loop, beverage etc. I had first tried a Magic-T splitter but found it to be unnecssary vs the "T."
It's wise to use a front end protector like an Array Solutions AS-RXFEP in line with the RX Antenna if it's close to the TX antenna. An Preamp like a KD9SV BF981 can also prove useful as well as an Array Solutions W3NQN brick wall Broadcast Band filter if local stations overload the front end on 160. 73 - Steve WB6RSE ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
