Another case of YMMV..!! My 75amp, supplying 12 vdc to everything on my desk, has been turned on for the past 9 1/2 years, with the few exceptions of when I was attaching leads to my distribution panel. And I live in south Georgia, just an alligator spit from the Florida line.
