That sounds equally good.
Let's hope somebody at Elecraft picks this up. It will smoothen the
operation of the K3-line still more.
BTW, I had the K3-KPA500 combo with me on the TN2MS DXpedition in
October. Without the KAT500 ( not need for it there). That was smooth
operation from Congo.

tuner (or none). When you press the ATU Tune button on the K3, it
tunes whichever one it is configured for (and puts the KPA 500 in
bypass).
