Hi Iain, Yes, I agree.... What I miss when keying through the RemoteRig, is that ability. It seems when trying to adjust the WPM with the CW knob on the RemoteRig, that the speed is not smooth. I can turn it clockwise for a bit and not much seems to change, then all of a sudden, it jumps quite a bit in speed.
