I would like to put a second SO239 antenna jack on my K3 (using a modified KANT3) .Without opening up the K3 and looking at the signals/levels can one of you digital wizards tell me what the sigs/levels are for SK3 and MISO3 . Looking at the KAT3 it looks like maybe the U4 is required to use the ANT logic ???
I am not a digital guy - just a old old analog RF Engineer so I don't know what SCK3 is doing or what the signal on MISO3 looks like. If MISO3 is just an on or off signal level that is changed by ANT I can handle the switching . Main reason for this is I would like to have a second antenna input I can switch to for a 6 meter antenna so it does not go through all the discontinuities in an amp and a remote antenna switch and a moose HF antenna coupler . Or maybe to switch between an omni HF vertical and a HF beam by tapping ANT. Yes I could buy an external 2 position ant switch - but it would be nice to be built in. How about a KANT3 (B) that has this function ?
