I also copied TZ5A in KY with very strong signals and very consistent...perhaps an honest 559 or better. It seemed that the EU stations had the stronger signals. I didn't give much of an effort to work you, but called several times. I usually don't have trouble breaking pileups. I have a full size, elevated quarterwave groundplane on 160. This time, however, I didn't get through, probably due to lack of effort on my part. I wasn't working the contest and didn't really care.

Subject: [Elecraft] Elecraft K2/100 at TZ5A

Hi

Just to report that the 7 K2/100s which we used in Mali as TZ5A in CQWW
CW this year worked flawlessly.

So many thanks to Eric and the gang at Elecraft.

This was a heavy weight test for the K2 and they more than met the task.
Each of the 7 stations used a K2/100, Alpha amp, computer networked in
CT and an array of antennas including , monobanders for HF/40, verticals
aon 80/160 with a C3 on the mult station. RXin ants were a 580' Beverage
and a K9AY loop

K2s were all carried in with no problems.

73 and thanks again

Bob G3PJT/TZ5A and the rest of the Voodoo Contest Group
