For what ever it might be worth, I use 7/16 DIN connectors instead of either UHF or type N connectors. Once I have connected a jumper to the back of a rig, I then use only 7/16 DINs all the way to my SteppIr. My DB36 also uses a 7/16 DIN as I use a custom balun from Array Solutions. I had Jay make my balun with a female 7/16 DIN, just as I had him build my PMII couplers with male and female 7/16 DINs.
