Thanks, Don.  I'm ordering U1 and U5.

The display is completely dead--no segments.  I also see I erred in
reporting that all other voltages were ok.  U5 pins 1 & 2 measured 0.0.
Don't know how I missed that but it makes sense as the receiver is dead.
