I got an error message “One or more required firmware files is missing” when running the K3 Utility, even after I “Copy new files from Elecraft”. I created a new folder: /Elecraft/K3 Firmware/K3fw5r29 but I was not able not able to “Send new firmware to the K3”.
Then I changed to the default folder, got new firmware from the Elecraft site, and “Send new firmware to K3” was successful. Current status is that 5.29 firmware has been successfully loaded using the Default directory. So no problem here. But still, why was I not able to use the folder I had selected. ?
