This may be off-topic and not specifically Elecraft, but transmitted signal quality is a big topic on this list.
QST publishes transmitter measurements without a benchmark. What is a good benchmark? Should they average the best three transmitters tested in the previous 12 months? I’d love to see a graph with that benchmark also charted. Of course, the FCC requirement line should be on the charts, too. Even that would provide a reference for comparison. I’m open to better ideas.
