The only way you can use CW Skimmer directly with the K3 is in "Audio Mode", where the passband supplied to CW Skimmer is limited by whatever filter you have engaged (i.e., 2.7 KHz, etc). If you want to see a reasonable portion of spectrum you need a separate hardware interface that generates I/Q signals.
