If your Hardware store stocks a simple buzzer or bell, they are the same
thing ready to go. Usually run off of 6 or 12 volts, ac or dc.

Why simulate the QRN with a solid-state circuit when the real thing is so
easy to produce? Hi!

The standard "circuit" Ten Tec uses to test their noise blankers is a relay
wired to open its own coil circuit and then remake. The arcing at the
contacts makes a good close by test source for this.
