Sorry, I fat fingered the first reply. 😩 I'm using Winmor on my K3 - I don't have a KX3, however I think I encountered your problem. Winmor must switch from TX to RX quickly so you cannot use VOX as you can for other digital modes. Instead use CONFIG:PTT/KEY set to rts/off and set up Winmor accordingly. That should avoid the error message you are seeing.
