Thanks for the reply, I hope that it's the board, that way I can send in the "broke" one and see if they can fix it cheaper than a new one. That way I would be halfway to getting my K3 updated hi hi.
Anyway I got My dad's set up for him and he is tickled to have a good rig for CW.
