I use the MFJ 1979 telescopic whip with a buddipole tripod. I have a loading coil to use for 30-80m. I use it vertical with two more MFJ1979 whips for radials. It really radiates.
You can see my mobile setup on QRZ. I use an SGC remote tuner to a 102" cb whip. I work all over with it.
