Cathy,

I don't know how much your soundcard would load down the speaker line (I
would tend to believe not much), but you certainly should not hurt anything,
so give it a try.

If you want a separate audio output line for the soundcard, take a look at
the K2 Fixed Audio Output article on my website http://w3fpr.qrprqdio.com
for some ideas.  I do have boards available for $3 each plus 50 cents
shipping, sorry, but I am out of the kits and do not plan to re-order.
