See page 28 of the KX3 manual.
If you must go "wireless", then some sort of computer at each location
will be required. But if you can go wired, then a 'null-modem' cable is
all that is necessary.

in a seperate room controlling the K3 with the KX3
Even if that required two computers, which I can wire up via the LAN.
