We should probably carry that logic over to many facets of life: No automobile needs to go over 45 MPH or need more than 25 HP. AC and iced drinks should be outlawed. Also, the sugar content needs to be about 1/10th of what it is currently in ALL foods. Houses should be limited to 1000 Sq. Ft. 87 Octane gasoline is plenty. Jack Daniels should be limited to 70 proof. One six-pack of Bud per month.

I used to run an SB220 and loved it when I made the contact. I later came to resent Ops I heard running power just to get over the pileup. I sold the Amp and don't regret it for a minute. If I were to get another amp the math shows 500w to be the sweet spot, however, I have so much opportunity to improve feedlines and antenna it doesn't makes sense to run power at this time.
