My father was an engineer from a long line of German craftsmen, so I have come
to appreciate the beauty in something well engineered.

The entire K-Line is quite pleasing to the eye stock. The beauty of simple
clean lines is one of the things
that drew me to the K-Line in the first place (and probably why I keep buying
all the matching pieces).

Admittedly when I got my K-Pod I was tempted to change out the new style rubber
grip for the old style just to keep things all uniform.

Both the stock VFO A knob and VFO B knob are weighted. The VFO A knob also has
a soft-touch rubber ring.

I have to admit I'm a little baffled as to why any different knobs would be
desirable. We tried to optimize for both function and aesthetics. But hey, I'm
just an engineer :)
