I used my 15 W Antex soldering iron that I bought in 1971 to build my K2. I like it so much that I use a voltage doubling and mains isolating transformer to use it here. I have a crude 30 W from Radioshack for more heat and a 60 W equivalent butane powered iron that works on aerial wires and connectors outside.
