This is normal on the KA500 (and also on the KPA1500) and is due to slightly different rates of thermal expansion and contraction of the heatrsink and sheet metal connected to it. In general it occurs mostly when the amp is used in higher duty cycle operation and will vary slightly from unit to unit.
