The FT8 Roundup starts later today. If you wish to participate in it, you must use the v2.0.0-rc4 or 5 software. The older code simply won’t work for the contest operation. Think of it as an opportunity to collect more grid squares. Also, you can certainly have both applications installed side by side and run whichever you need at the time.
