Viggo, I am using a KAT500, with an external 4:1 current balun, to feed a 103ft center fed doublet up 40ft. Using 300 Ohm open wire feed-line - not sure of length probably 30 - 40 ft. Coax between balun & KAT500 is 5 ft long.
Have also used 1:1 current balun but 4:1 provides more tuning solutions with KAT500.
