Just be glad they don't use TOTSU screws typical of many Japanese products.     i.e  the dot and slot ones.    Find one of those screwdrivers at Harbor Freight.

Are the screws in the Elecraft products American Phillips, or JIS Japanese Industrial Standard?

JIS which all the Japanese radios use, for my Icom radios I use a set of Hozan screw drivers to fix the Cam-Outs issue destroying the head of the screws, the difference is subtle.

I was told years ago the fit is right if the small screw stays on the screw driver holding it vertical with out magnetism keeping it attached.
