Andy: In answer to your two questions: The TI PCM2901, I am told by a Watsonville rep, was used in the K3-S. Whether it was used in early production runs, or used in later production runs, I do not know. It comes in two versions: Model E and Model EG4. As far as your second question: Do not know.
