Ken,
I am guessing, but my understanding is that to fasten a screw, you turn
the screw; to fasten a bolt, you turn the nut (not the bolt)... at
least, that is how I differentiate between the two, rather than on what
kind of hear they have.
Depending on where the washer is located, it may or may not be
"correct"; by that I mean the body of the paddle is meant to be flat
against the case of the KX1.

to carefully disk the end of the knerled Bolt (the group seems to call it aq
screw) with a drummel..
