I have burned myself several times this way. It got better when I got better light on the radio and was no longer tempted to select buttons by feel.

It might be useful to be able to save the states of all the buttons/menu settings/etc. on the radio and easily get back to them. Being able to switch back and forth would be nice too. Icing on the cake would be having a way to show the differences between the two sets.
