If you are an ARRL member, you also received an emailed statement from them today, reiterating their position on the appropriate uses of amateur radio.
It isn't surprising that those involved in the January 6 insurrection and attempted coup used radio comms of SOME kind to organize and coordinate activities. I hope none involved were hams. If any were, I hope that, at the very least, their licenses are permanently revoked.
