I’m not at all surprised the FCC felt it necessary to make the statement they did. And it certainly wasn’t limited to amateur radio licensees.
Anyone who has ever had a good chuckle or eye-roll over the “interesting QRM” Wayne referred to, should know why. That QRM, more and more often, also bleeds over into other places it doesn’t belong, like what should be apolitical reflectors. It seems there is no longer anywhere we can get away from someone or some group airing their grievances wherever they are at the slightest provocation.
