The COMspkr is amplified, which you don’t need with the K3.

I use the Pyle cubes with my KX3 (and a small audio amp). They are fine.

Another option would be the old Radio Shack AV speakers with the cast aluminum 
cabinets. I have a
single Optimus PRO-X44AV for my Lowe HF-150, I should probable get a pair for 
the KX3. Similar 
speakers are the Optimus 77, the Minimus 7, and so on.
