Another example of why having USB-C output on the K4 would be extremely beneficial. One USB-C cable to the external screen would supply not only video and power, but could enable touch screen capabilities, allowing the user to control the rig from the much larger screen if desired. I'm not sure if any code changes would even be needed to enable the touch screen support, since the rig already supports it on its internal screen.
As it stands, you could probably get the touch screen to work using a USB/USBC adapter, but now you've got 3 cables for that external screen instead of one.
