David

I have a Baby Loop here in England when I am M0SNA.

I’m happy with it but not sure I would buy that style again.

Pros
Amazingly well built
Worked first time yesterday after 20 months of non use (you know, that COVID
thing….)
Quiet
Marginally directional
Great for FT8 or ragchewing
Handles 400w at 40m and close to 1000w at 10m
Works fine with KX3 and a 1000w JUMA amp. Tracks frequency etc but I had to
fiddle around with cables and s/w to get this to work.

Cons
Pain in the proverbial to “retune” when you move 1-2 KHz off frequency … 1-3
seconds retune period
Given above not appropriate for contesting
Steep angle of radiation limiting DX
Requires a rotator
Mounts 7 ft off of ground….not stealthy (my neighbors and wife think its uglier
than sin, however I quite like its look)
Pricey

Somewhere in my blog is post of the Baby Loop….nothing really than the above
www.nomadic.blog

While I have no first hand experience, I think the same company makes a “loop”
that looks like a car jack and is truly stealthy.

Hope this helps.
