Sorry about the October 1st mention - I thought I had placed my order for the KPA3A 100 watt upgrade module at the end of June 2021, but it was the end of July. I estimated 12 weeks from end of June, and that is the source of the mistaken October 1st date (the "shipping no earlier than" date).
I wrote to Elecraft and received a nice response from Madelyn Gomez, which I won't reproduce verbatim here. I was told that long lead time components are the source of extended delays in filling orders for the K3/K3s "last call." It may be 4-6 months before those boards/modules are received in-house at Elecraft. I was told that product-specific estimated availability dates will be posted within the next several weeks.
